Emma
has worked in the hospitality, tourism and customer service
industry for over 7 years, both in the U.K and Australia. She
has also worked at her family owned 5 star Bed and Breakfast
in the Blue Mountains. Emma has a good knowledge of being an
international student herself, as she studied in Japan for a
year, and has travelled extensively. Her focus here at GVA is
to ensure that all residents feel at home and that they have
a safe and comfortable environment in which to live and study. |
Kumi
Pemasiri - Weekend - Duty Resident
(Bachelor of Information Systems, ACU Advanced Diploma in Electrical
Technology, Sydney TAFE)
Kumi has lived at Greenwich Village for many years. Designing
for his bright future, he works Weekends to assist with new
arrivals and other resident needs. |
Eranga
Wijetunga - Weeknight – Duty Resident
(MBA at CQU & MIB at UOW in Australia, BSc at University
of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka)
Eranga has been a resident at Greenwich Village since 2003.
He can assist you with any enquiries you may have during our
out of office hours on the weekday evenings. He has been a great
help over the years in assisting management and residents to
improve the community spirit here at Greenwich Village. |

Lee - Cleaning Services
George has been with Greenwich Village for over 5 years.
George and his experienced assistant prepare your room for
your arrival and ensures that GVA is well cleaned, kept fresh
and tidy daily.

Susan
Byrne – Office Administrator
(J.E.B
teaching Diploma- Information Technology)
Susan worked for an Educational Centre with young student’s
as an I.T tutor for over 5 years in Ireland, before moving to
Australia over a year ago.Since moving to Sydney, Susan has
worked as a Receptionist and office Administrator. Due
to Susan’s previous work experience and relocating to
a new country, it gives her the ability to relate well to the
student’s staying at Greenwich. She
will be your first point of contact for making any enquiries
and/or your booking here at Greenwich Village. |
Jimmy
Ilic - Maintenance
Jimmy has been with Greenwich Village for over 10 years.
Jimmy looks after the maintenance and upkeep of building works
here at GVA – he can also assist you if you need something
repaired or replaced in your room. |
